New Sales Engineer Joins Modular Automation

Birmingham assembly equipment manufacturer Modular Automation International has appointed a new sales engineer to develop its business in north-west England.

Paul Greaves, joined Modular in May and has over 25 experience in the automation equipment industry, starting as an apprentice with Manchester based L C Edwards Ltd before moving into sales.  Paul has gained a wealth of experience during his time in the industry both on the shop floor and as a sales engineer especially in the pharmaceutical and food sectors.

“I’m very pleased to be part of the Modular team,” said Paul. “Modular is one of the most respected companies in the automation business and I’ve always had a high regard for the equipment they build here. I started in the industry as a lowly apprentice and worked my way up through the ranks: that’s given me real-world experience at all levels of the business and I’m looking forward to adding my contribution to the company’s success.”

Paul lives in Manchester with his wife Barbara and 19 year old daughter Heather.  When he’s not at work he has a wilder side to his character, playing lead guitar in a Pink Floyd tribute band doing gigs in the pubs and clubs in Manchester and the north-west.
