New Sales Engineer Joins the Modular Automation Team

Birmingham assembly equipment manufacturer Modular Automation International has appointed a new sales engineer to develop its business in southern England.

Andrew Hill, who is 43 joined Modular in September after spending seven years at A B Precision in Poole Dorset where he was mainly involved in developing automation systems for the medical and automotive industries.

“I’m very pleased to be part of the Modular team,” said Andrew. “I’ve worked in the automation industry for quite a few years now and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.  Moving to Modular is a major step forward in my career, I feel as though I’ve left division one and joined the premier league - I’ll be working hard to help keep Modular at the top of it.”

Andrew lives in Bournemouth with his wife and three children.  Away from work he is a keen cyclist and often takes part in fund raising events to support charities   including The British Heart Foundation.
