PHS Teacrate Launches New Packaging Materials Service for the Removals Industry

Britain’s leading crate rental company, PHS Teacrate is expanding its service to the moving industry by offering an enhanced range of packaging consumables.  The launch of this improved new service is being supported by a national advertising campaign with the theme ‘Thinking Inside the Box’.

Products will include packing paper, tape, cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, paper blankets and handling equipment.  The aim of the new service is to provide customers with a one-stop-shop for crates and all the associated packing materials needed in the moving industry, both for the commercial and domestic removers market.  Stock will be held at Teacrate’s six service centres throughout the UK for rapid dispatch, or collection by customers.  An on-line ordering service will be available via Teacrate’s website next year.

Simon Johns has joined PHS Teacrate as Business Development Manager and will be assisting Teacrate’s established sales team with the new packaging service.  Simon has over 14 years’ experience in the industry and previously worked as National Sales Manager for a major packaging company.  He has always been involved in the moving industry and began his career working as a porter for David Dale removals in Harrogate at the age of 17. His extensive experience in both the packaging and removals industry will enable him to understand the needs of customers and provide expert advice when required.
